Bart’s Vision

Bart really likes coffee, but that wasn’t always the case. Some coffees were too bitter and left a stale taste in his mouth. Bart hated that, as I am sure some of you can agree. So he started on his quest to find that perfect cup of morning joy and learned… sometimes you just have to do everything yourself! And that is what he did, he roasted his first bag of green coffee beans and created what many exclaim to be the best cup of coffee they have ever tasted. The perfect bag for those who say they do not like coffee, The O.M.G Original. The rest, as they say, is history.

Who is Bart?

Bart is a man with a vision, he wanted to be self-employed and enjoy a cup of coffee every morning like the rest of the world. So he started roasting his first bag of green coffee beans back in 2018, in his garage. He perfected his flavors and created a tasty coffee blend that was enjoyed so dearly by his little southern town Irmo, South Carolina. By 2019 Bart and his crazy good coffee were in a truck creating amazing coffee treats. So good in fact he was able to move to a permanent location in 2020!

Welcome to Bart’s very first brick and mortar location. He “opened for operation” at his Chapin location on December 28th 2020, with limited service via the Mobile App and pick at the drive-up window. Then in late January 2021 Bart’s Crazy Good Coffee fully opened the doors to guests to come inside the coffee shop to order as well as “dine in”. He invites you to visit the Chapin coffee shop, say hit to his daughter Meg who will make you one of the MANY varieties of hot, cold, frozen and even ice cream coffee (and non-coffee) options.
